Billet Steering
going out in my buddies Sugarsand jet-boat tomorrow, should I be excited?

He said his is the only Sugarsand jet-boat with a 240 H.P. engine in it. He had lots of "1 of a kind" custom mods done to it. Reinforced seat cushions with matching trim. It's the only one that is the color blue (looks like Yamaha blue). Has custom billet steering wheel. Has digital sensor that displays feul economy, GPM and a bunch of other readings. It is a very nice boat. But how fast will it be. He told me the only boats on the water faster are the big ciggarette boats. Ever seen a Sugarsand with a 240 H.P. engine? Blue?
hey porkchop, his isn't the "optimax". He had the engine from a larger Sugarsand boat installed into his boat. His IS the only "Tango" that has this motor. His boat was ordered to be blue directly from the factory, and IS the only one that is blue. Stop lying.

Hmmm I probably don't have the answer you're looking for as I do not even know what this boat is.

However, I think you should be excited to go out and spend some time having fun tomorrow and not worry about it. My biggest concern is you are safe and you do not drink and...uh...drive? And certainly, do not get into the boat with him or anyone else who is going to operate it and has been drinking.

Be careful, relax, have fun, be safe, and enjoy your Memorial day.
