Help please question about stippling makeup brush?
I'm new to whole makeup thing so I actually have a quick question. I went to target today to try to find the brush, but I was unsure if it was a stippling brush. It said dual finish foundation brush and I was white bristles on top and was black just like the mac one but the brush (bristles) were a little shorter was that a stippling brush or am I wrong (I wish I took a picture but sadly I didn't think of that until I got home)

oh okay here is better detail (i hope) the white bristles were in the middle and extended longer than the black bristles that surrounded it. It was a pretty medium sized brush (so definately not a eyeshadow brush)
I dont really understand your description. But typically a stippling brush will have short black bristles and longer white bristles mixed in together, so that the white bristles are the ones you will actually be using. A stippling brush is one which has a round and flat top.
Dual fiber brushes are the same as a 'stippling brush', however can come in different shapes and sizes to be used for different things - eyeshadow etc.
So essentially, the Stippling Brush from MAC is a Dual Fiber Brush - but a Dual Fiber brush may not be a stippling brush. The thing that defines a stippling brush is the shape of it, which is round and flat topped.
