The heat generated by solar or tidal power is then transmitted to the vehicle by the use of wireless energy transfer such as inducting, among others. The electricity is then stored in the vehicle using a battery or a flywheel. These types of carts work using the principle of combustion, where by it can only get its energy from a few sources. These vehicles have a regenerative braking system.

 

Golf carts have been used in communities, especially by high school students, where by it is their main form of transport. In some islands, motor vehicles are restricted and hence people opt to use the carts. They are for short journeys.
