My Hot Water Bottle Is a Favourite Winter Accessory
With the winter fast approaching, it is time to think about updating my most important winter accessory. What could this be you ask, a coat, a pair of boots, gloves, hat, etc. My winter accessory is far more important to me. It keeps me warm and cosy through even the darkest and gloomiest winter nights. Have you had a guess at what I am talking about? No, then I shall let you know, it is my trusty hot water bottle.
It is unbelievable how many different styles of hot water bottle I have owned over the years. It amazes me the vast selection now on offer. It amazes me to see how far the hot water bottle has progressed since I purchased mine over 35 years ago. I still can remember the very first one I owned. My dad and mum got it for me one Christmas. It was pink in colour, smelt a lot of rubber and occasionally decided to leak all over my sheets.
Of course that was many years ago. Nowadays hot water bottles have to withstand a lot of rigorous testing, so making them far safer and reliable.
I love all hot water bottles. They are brilliant because each year new designs are introduced and with all the different colour schemes available, there are no excuses for me not to mix and match my hot water bottle with all my other bedroom accessories.
Personally speaking, I think they are a brilliant gift to give to all your friends and family. It is brilliant because there are so many different designs to choose from.Even your most awkward relative will soon be happy with their new winter companion. I defy you not to be able to satisfy even great Aunt Matilda with the brilliant Furry Hot Water Bottle
My daughter is absolutely crazy about anything with animal prints on, so for her birthday last week, I got her a new Giraffe Print Hot Water Bottle. As you can imagine she was thrilled with this and even though the winter is not upon us yet, she has already started taking it to bed with her.
Most people dread the winter coming, me I say bring it on and bring on my hot water bottle.
