HELP with my invention please?
okay, so for homework we needed to think of an invention, and i thought of something along the lines of a spider trap or catcher.
first i was thinking of maybe one of those things that you can grab stuff with, like the things they use to pick up trash? and use cup-like things in the grabbers so you can easily catch the spider. but this didnt seen very creative.
i also thought of something like the mouse trap game, where its this whole deal with so many unnecessary gizmos that has a simple desired result in the end.
she's very open-minded, so she'll take anything thats not vulgar.
and i'm also willing to change my idea for the invention, so you're not limited to spider catchers.
any and all ideas would be appreciated.

but your idea sounds a lot like a vaccum...

If you want to make a spider catcher, maybe a tube set up so that it sucks the spider into a jar with a "puff" of vacuum. Shape the tube so that it's not easy for the spider to climb back out.
My wife hates spiders... let me know if your thingo works so I can make one too 
EDIT: Yes, that's another way of saying my idea 'sucks'... but hear me out: with this gizmo you can save the spider and let it go (great for the meat-is-murder crowd). Plus, hauling out the vac every time there's a spider is a hassle. Since it's a tube it extends your reach so you can get them from behind the sofa, on the ceiling, etc.
