how to go back to old style contact list?
I don't like the new style contact list, how to go back to the old style list?
The old style "Contact List" is now called "Address Book" The information we used to see when we opened "Contacts is visible at a glance, in wide layout, larger fonts, and even nickname in green. Choosing from the entire A/B to send an email is nice, but we don't have the other abilities we used to have. Here's how to get the "Address Book"
Above "", next to "Check Mail", is either "New" or "Compose"-depending on which Yahoo decides-it changes)
Select "New" and "email" from drop down list
Select from the underlined - To, CC, or BCC (it doesn't matter here)
Up pops your "Address Book", drag to full screen,
If you need a particular "Category", select from top right
If you wish to send an email:
Make selections as to field for each name you wish (as many as you wish). I use BCC for privacy, and send myself in "To" to prevent Unknown Recipient" which nobody wants to open.
When your list is complete "Insert Choices" at bottom right
All of your choices will have their email address inserted into the appropriate field.
Compose your email.
I detest the new style "Contact" list and don't even look at it except to add a contact or category, or edit a person's information. Yahoo has really messed this up !
