can you file a piston ring down enough to fit?
Flat edge, where the increase of the piston is.... if you know what i mean. HELP ME.. i want to know if i can, if the rings would still work? they should not move cause there is a thing that makes the rings stay in place, but they are a little to fat to fit. HELP HELP HELP!!!!!!
if you need to file the edge of the ring to make it fit, that should be fine. you should be measuring and adjusting ring gap as it is any way. the rings do move around the piston by design any way.
