Golfers, how should I get started in golf?
Also, I have a bad swing when it comes to drivers, what should I do to improve my swing? How much should I spend on a set of clubs to learn with? I have a putter right now that I use for practicing putting, but I only have a little putting mat. What putting mat would you suggest to get some real practice putting? I've been wanting to play golf since I was 12 and I am now 20, I really want to play.
I want to take lessons but I can't really afford them right now. How much do they usually cost though?
