Have you ever noticed that they never hand out rally towels at sports games in Boston? Why?
Rally towels are good for player morale, they're good for the overall excitement of the game. A lot of teams in other cities hand them out to fans during playoff games, but never in Boston. Why not in Boston?
The biggest argument is that the towels will wind up on the field/court/ice...but they never have this problem with fans in other cities, do they?

Waving rally towels is just pretty tacky. Bostonians prefer to let those bumpkins from Cleveland make @$$ of themselves.
