i have a single cab truck and i wanna build a custom box through the bed?
i have a single cab chevy truck i wanna just cut out a little of the back of the cab and bed for two twelves i know how to cut it out but how would i seal all that up to make sure rain or anything doesnt come in. would i half to take the whole bed off?
Wrong answer......Yes you can cut the back of the cab an the bed. If you do a full cut like you would do if you had a snug-top camper . the cut's called a walk thru. I'm guessing you don't have a camper top on your bed. There is a gasket for doing these kinds of cut's You can get the gasket from any truck customization shop. Down below is the gasket your looking for. To make it work you need to cut the same cut's behind the seat an on the bed as well. Good luck. I hope this will help you with your project.
