I am about to purchase a Pioneer Plasma TV. Can I mount it on my wall over a Pellet Stove?
I am purchasing a 50" and the best place would be over my free-standing pellet stove. Now the stove gets hot, but the wall above doesn't. I would think it would be ok, but again, it is gases being heated!! If you have a suggestion, I am listening! Thanks
If I were you, I'd do a test first. Fire up the stove at the highest level you would ever use it at, and place a simple thermometer where you plan to put the screen. If the temperature over a matter of an hour or two exceeds 80-90 degrees, I would advise against it.
